i have a script which connects to database on oracle 
i have oracle client installed
but when i launch it i have: call to undefined function ociplogon()

Please check with phpinfo(); if oracle functions are enabled, and report back.

Try to recompile PHP, and make sure you use a fresh snapshot or a fresh checkout from the tar.gz file. And please be more informative next times...

You must have the environment variables set before starting
