Description:
------------
---
From manual page: http://www.php.net/function.runkit-function-add
---

runkit now accepts a closure as the second argument as an alternative to the "params" and "code" strings, but this isn't mentioned in the documentation.

Indeed. I wonder, however, whether a general callable is accepted, or if it has to be an instance of Closure.

Okay, some quick tests reveal that only Closures are supported (opposed to general callables).

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better.
