Hi,

The removal of mssql_ functions has meant we are not able to switch to PHP 7 as we have a dependency on using mssql. 

I have tried using pdo_dblib instead, and there is a core bug which prevents returning values from input/output variables in stored procedures, which makes it unusable for me too.

That is unlikely to happen, as there has been a clear vote to
remove the mssql extension[1].

Consider to try another alternative listed in the
documentation[2].
