Asserted:
"These special variables were introduced in PHP ยป 4.1.0. Before this time, we used the older $HTTP_*_VARS arrays instead, such as $HTTP_SERVER_VARS. Although deprecated, these older variables still exist. (See also the note on old code.)"

But, actually, with accordancy http://php.net/manual/en/tutorial.oldcode.php, global variables like $HTTP_*_VARS , does not exists since 5.4.0

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
