With two mysql servers running, one on port 3036 and the other on port 3037. ,with different sockets and database locations.

The first time mysql_connect is called with the 2nd port (3037) it connects correctly. The second time it is called from the same line of code, with the same host/user/pass it tries to connect to the wrong port.
