Both JMPNZ and JMPZNZ exist, and are different opcodes: in 5.6, JMPNZ is opcode 44 and JMPZNZ is opcode 45. See also https://github.com/php/php-src/blob/php-5.6.4/Zend/zend_vm_def.h#L2124-L2154.
