Hi,

I am trying to install the following on Redhat 6.1
I need to get PHP to talk to a MSSQL 6.5 server so I am trying to install FreeTDS as suggested.

FreeTDS compiled as follows
./configure --with-tdsver=4.2 --enable-msdblib --enable-static --enable-dbmfix
make
make install

PHP 4.0.2 compiled as follows
./configure --with-sybase-ct=/usr/local/freetds --enable-track-vars --with-mysql --with-apxs
make

it then fails here with the error

Can someone please explain why this might be happening?
Even if they don't know how to fix it just give me a reason so I can try to fix it myself

Thanks

Have you tried PHP4.0.3pl1 or latest snapshot from http://snaps.php.net ??
Does this bug still exist with them?

No feedback. And more likely an user error.
If problem still exists with PHP 4.0.4 and you have followed all
the install instructions, reopen this bug report.
