Description:
------------
Apache 2.2 does not handle PHP in windows 7 environment.

When I put the following into my Apache "httpd.conf" file:

#Load PHP handlers.
LoadModule php5_module "c:/xampp/php/php5apache2_2.dll"
AddHandler application/php .php

# configure the path to php.ini
PHPIniDir "C:/xampp/php"

Apache crashes with no error log.

Test script:
---------------
#Load PHP handlers.
LoadModule php5_module "c:/xampp/php/php5apache2_2.dll"
AddHandler application/php .php

# configure the path to php.ini
PHPIniDir "C:/xampp/php"

This page http://www.apachefriends.org/en/xampp-windows.html states "PHP in this package needs the Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 ". If that's really the case - that's most likely compiled with VC9, whereby PHP 5.5 requires VC11. Could you please try the same using the apache build from apachelounge.com and php binaries from windows.php.net built with VC11?

Same problem:
