Description:
------------
Sorry for my english it's not my mother language. I have spend 1 hour of
debugging because your header function on the doc tell us that default charset
encoding is UTF-8 (string htmlentities ( string $string [, int $flags =
ENT_COMPAT | ENT_HTML401 [, string $encoding = 'UTF-8' [, bool $double_encode =
true ]]] )) but in fact the real one is ISO-8859-1 as specified in the encoding
section bellow on this page. Thanks to change the header to avoid that someone
else have the same problem.

Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PHP itself. For a
list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PHP, please
visit http://www.php.net/support.php as this bug system is not the
appropriate forum for asking support questions. Due to the volume
of reports we can not explain in detail here why your report is not
a bug. The support channels will be able to provide an explanation
for you.

Thank you for your interest in PHP.

The prototype is correct. The PHP manual show prototypes from the latest release
of PHP.
