Description: ------------ --- From manual page: http://www.php.net/mongo.writes --- In version 1.2.x of the driver, when performing a write operation with the "safe => false" (unsafe) flag set, it would return a boolean value. In 1.3.0 (beta2) it appears that this is no longer the case, as these operations have no return value (null). While this makes sense - since we won't really know if the operation succeeded - this will break applications which expect that boolean return value. This seems to be not the case in the 1.3.0 final release.
