Occasionally, out web servers have to process large amounts of data, resulting in php-fpm children that occupy > 500MB of RAM, which is not returned to the OS after the request has finished. Since we know precisely when this happens, it would be useful to let the affected php-fpm child die after the request, similar to apache_child_terminate().
