I get the following error after a make command...

Making all in Zend

Here is the ./configure line:

 ./configure --with-apxs=/usr/sbin/apxs --with-mysql=/u
sr --enable-magic-quotes


Haven't the slightest idea what seems to be the problem...

That error comes when some (or all) of kernel header files are not found.

Please check that you have this symlink:

/usr/include/asm 

which points to the right header files, for example

/usr/src/linux/asm

Have you compiled linux kernel by yourself? 
Have you installed all needed development rpms?
(like kernel-headers, etc.)
