Description:
------------
The PHP error logs support logging to syslog. You simply set,

  error_log = syslog

in php.ini, and PHP handles the rest. The new mail.log setting does not support this, however, so it is difficult to consolidate your logs if you use syslog. Setting,

  mail.log = syslog

results in a file name 'syslog' in the current directory.
