I have configured and compiled php4 with

configure --enable-discard-path

my cgi is an easy test "prueba.cgi" with 755 permissions

#!/usr/local/bin/php
<?
	print "Hola";
?>

It is executed correctly in a shell, but it fails if it's executed as a CGI, it fails with the message:

"No input file specified" 

php 3.0.16 works correctly in the same context.

Have you tried more recent version of php4
(from CVS or snaps.php.net ) ???
