the archive for inotify-0.1.5 looks broken, only package.xml got extracted

me Downloads $ tar xvf inotify-0.1.5.tgz 
package.xml
tar: A lone zero block at 8


I have the same result (only package.xml) with a computer running ubuntu using file-roller to extract the archive

I see that inotfy was repackaged. version 0.1.6 is working like a charm and 
compiles against php 5.4.
