When attempting to compile php, I receive an error right around here:

checking whether to include YP support... no
checking whether to include zlib support... yes
checking for gzgets in -lz... no
configure: error: Zlib module requires zlib >= 1.0.9.

I know I have the correct version of zlib installed. I also know I'm attempting to enable a lot of features, but I don't think this should be a problem. Here's the error that I'm given in the debug.log:

gcc -o conftest -g -O2 -DEAPI=1 -Wl,-rpath,/usr/lib/lib -L/usr/lib/lib conftest.c -lsnmp -lmm -lmysqlclient -lldap -lttf -lX11 -lXpm -ljpeg -lz -lpng -lgd -lgdbm -lresolv -lm -ldl -lcrypt -lnsl -lresolv -L/usr/lib/lib -ljpeg -L/usr/lib/lib -lXpm -lX11 -llber 1>&5
/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lX11
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

All of the X11 libraries are present and the correct path is in /etc/ld.so.conf. Any ideas on this one?

Thanks,
Nate
