I've installed php 4.0.0 and everything worked properly.
In a week I decided to install the new 4.0.1 pl2.
However when I did that, the php was not working at all!!!

Well, that's too bad, but please elaborate in which way it doesn't work, what happens, what server did  you use, what PHP mode, what happened.
