When running the command "make", compiler fails and return a fatal error:

I Fixed the error by removing the word "static" from the 405 and 415 lines. The fix is written by Alex Dutra at the follow link:

Quoting: "The macro ZEND_BEGIN_ARG_INFO_EX already includes 'static const'
keywords in the signature, so it's enough to remove the additional 'static'"

Yep, got the same error:

/tmp/pear/temp/SPL_Types/spl_type.c: At top level:
/tmp/pear/temp/SPL_Types/spl_type.c:405: error: duplicate 
?static?
/tmp/pear/temp/SPL_Types/spl_type.c:415: error: duplicate 
?static?

Used the command "pecl install SPL_Types" to install the 
package.

Please fix.

This bug has been fixed in SVN.

In case this was a documentation problem, the fix will show up at the
end of next Sunday (CET) on pecl.php.net.

In case this was a pecl.php.net website problem, the change will show
up on the website in short time.

This has been fixed in SVN and a release is coming shortly
