We faced the problem with installation package solr-0.9.10 We downloaded package from your site and tried to read installation doc. As a result we saw in README.INSTALLATION:
"To compile from source, please follow the following steps
./configure
make && make install
This should compile the code and install it in the extension_dir specified in the ini file.
..."

But there are no directory configure in package. 
Could you clear up this moment?

If you look in your php.ini file you will see the "extension_dir" variable.

This is the directory that I am referring to

Once the extension is configured then you have to add solr.so as one of the extensions as well in the php.ini file
