#!/usr/local/bin/php
  <?php
  $handle=opendir('.');
  echo "Directory handle: $handle\n";
  echo "Files:\n";
  while ($file = readdir($handle)) {
      echo "$file\n";
  }
  closedir($handle);
?>

php.ini is default
php is configured with --with-ldap --with-mysql

4.0.1pl2 is also affected. looks like a solaris libc<->php missinteraction.

Failed to reproduce that on Solaris 2.6. Could you please try and generate backtrace (http://bugs.php.net/bugs-generating-backtrace.php)?

no feedback. And I couldn't reproduce this either.
