I try to solve this this problem in any way, but I'm not able to solve it.

Sorry I didn't notice this one arrive during the holidays. 

We have had success installing on Mac in earlier releases, but the build has changed a bit since then. There is one thing that looks a little odd in your configure output - the line:

checking libxml2 install dir... no


Please would you send your phpinfo output.

You say you've tried to solve the problem in various ways. Have you tried removing the dependency on libxml, or making it optional? Then you should be able to get past the problem, though it could still fail at runtime. 

Untar the package, and edit config.m4, changing the line
PHP_ADD_EXTENSION_DEP(sdo, libxml)
to
PHP_ADD_EXTENSION_DEP(sdo, libxml, true)

Then rebuild the extension manually: phpize;./configure;make.

Does this make a difference?

I think something has gone wrong in your second attempt. In your first example, phpize reported:
running: phpize
Configuring for:
PHP Api Version:         20041225
Zend Module Api No:      20050922
Zend Extension Api No:   220051025

but in the second example this had changed to:

Zend Module Api No:      20020429
Zend Extension Api No:   20050606

which on your machine seems to correspond to the /usr/local/php directory rather than /usr/local/php5.

This is much older than 5.1.4.

If the same problem occurs, just remove the three PHP_ADD_EXTENSION_DEP lines, and see what happens next.
