This fixed the submission problem but the "Need CVS account" feature always report "no".

Looking at the source (http://cvs.php.net/co.php/peclweb/public_html/account-request.php?r=1.27) it seems to be that the $viewcvs variable isn't present in the $fields array on lin 37 and therefore won't get initialized when register_globals is off.

Err, it should read "the $needcvs variable"

This bug has been fixed in CVS.

If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net by the end of next Sunday (CET).

If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should be live shortly.

Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release.

Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.
