Description:
------------
The description element of the feeds (the latest release feed for example) may be rendered incorrectly in some aggregators.

The description shows in one line making hard to read.

A solution could be to add cdata to the description element.

Can you point us to an aggregator that fails, so that we can reproduce the issue?

NetNewsWire2 on OS X.

Opening http://pear.php.net/feeds/latest.rss directly in firefox will also have the same effect.

For info the parsing on NetNewsWire 2 latest beta was improved and the feed is now rendered properly. I don't know what you might want to do then.

If I load the feed in Firefox, everything looks fine. Thus I'm closing this bug report for now.
