Description:
------------
Reading http://www.php.net/manual/en/mysql.installation.php it says that mysqlnd is enabled by default in Unix and that all three mysql extensions are enabled by default in Unix. This does not appear to be the case. These pages seems to be more accurate: http://www.php.net/manual/en/mysqlnd.install.php http://www.php.net/manual/en/mysqli.installation.php

Examples:
./configure && make && ./sapi/cli/php | grep mysql - no mysql extensions installed
./configure --with-mysql - this will build against libmysqlclient instead of mysqlnd.
