the exception constants are not defined in DOMException class

here are the dom2 constants:
const unsigned short      INDEX_SIZE_ERR                 = 1;

const unsigned short      HIERARCHY_REQUEST_ERR          = 3;
const unsigned short      WRONG_DOCUMENT_ERR             = 4;

Not sure what you're saying is wrong... but they're defined as global constants:
