"Note:
If size is larger than the file it is extended with null bytes.
If size is smaller than the extra data will be lost."

The word "file" is missing in the second sentence.

Expected result:

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better.

Unfortunately, my cookie dough is currently sitting unloved in my freezer waiting to be baked, but you can have a documentation fix anyway.
