It'd be nice to be able to have an option to build both the standalone(CGI) and another option such as an Apache shared module.
I personaly find debugging with the standalone easier, yet I still like to test on the webserver..
Right now I just build it one way and then reconfigure the other way and rebuild...

sorry, but this is a bit beyond what autoconf and friends can provide
