Description:
------------
While searching on this mirror, I simply typed regular expression into the search
box and pressed return. I was greeted with an error reporting the search was not
supported on that mirror.

This problem only occurs on us3.php.net.

Log: Added debugging info to fetch_contents(), and enabled track_errors until we require 5.2+ and/or do better error handling. Reveals too much info? Helps deal with bugs like #51679
