./configure --with-apache=../apache_1.3.12 --enable-track-vars
make

make fails with "permission denied" when it hits configuration-parser.c and configuration-scanner.c.  The quick solution is to substitute './' for every occurance of '/home/zeev/php4/php-4.0.0//' in both of these files. (I count 45 occurances with wc -l)

The reason make said "permission denied" is that my system is set up to automount under the /home directory, and /home/zeev does not exist.
