PHP bug #46318 and attached patch still affects PHP 5.3.1 so please do reopen this bug as the attached patch fixes the issue. If you are bitten by this bug then the only remedy, besides rebuilding PHP using this patch, is to restart the server, fixing the issue for a while.

While #46318 may be a duplicate of libGD #177 it is in no way fixed in either libGD or PHP as the error is still in both sources.

This patch has not been applied. However I do not have a way to reproduce this bug.

Please note that the other bug was closed to avoid double locations for a discussion. Please use bugs.libgd.org to discuss it (the bug is still open there).
