This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.

Thank you for the report, and for helping us make our documentation better.

This doesn't really have anything to do with file_get_contents() itself, but is provided by the HTTP wrapper, if it is enabled. HTTP is not the only wrapper which may be used by file_get_contents(), and file_get_contents() is not the only function affected by the HTTP wrapper.

This is already documented in the HTTP wrapper section and Predefined Variables section.

It would be redundant to document every possible combination of predefined variables for each function for which the wrappers may apply, so I've simply added a little more wording to the wrappers tip indicating that information on predefined variables etc. may be found by following the link to the wrappers section.
