If think the 'Return Value' in the documentation should be clarified (as in oci_fetch_array):

Returns TRUE on success or FALSE *if there are no more rows in the statement.*

The original document (created back in March 2004) shows the same text.

I think you have to reopen the status. This report was not for oci_fetch_array but for *oci_fetch*

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
