It works, for mirrors I tested at least. Which mirror are you using? The full URL will end up looking something like:

http://us2.php.net/manual-lookup.php?pattern=foo

Where that is the us2 mirror. And what is the error/problem?

I am in China using the following, though this seems to working OK now. Maybe it was just just a blip, although the problem lasted for an hour or so.
