When trying to build the DSO version, the compilation goes OK, but when doing "gmake install", apxs says "xxx module is not a DSO". PHP 3.0.16 works as a DSO.

Is this anyways related to bug #4637 ??
And again, have you tried any recent versions of PHP4 whether the problem persists or not?

(after a few emails with bug reporter..)

This seems to be problem with Apache in HP-UX which
doesn't accept .sl as DSO (as it should). ( version 1.3.12)

I leave this open though. If someone has any configuration/compile hints for hpux feel free to share them.
