PHP4 (CVS) compiled into Apache

Running this test script on latest CVS in any directory always prints
out the root directory "/" tree info. Doesn't seem correct

<?php
    $handle=opendir('.');
    while ($file = readdir($handle)) {
            echo "$file <BR>" ;
}

?>

the CVS version has VIRTUAL_DIR support on by default. please comment out
#define VIRTUAL_DIR in php.h and you should see the correct listing again.
