Description: ------------ Strtotime returns time() with any string that begins with 'eat' While this is related to: http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=43960 It is not exactly the same. So, I read the other bug report's comments a little more thoroughly and found out about "Double timezone specification"s. What I really wanted was a is_perfect_time: function is_perfect_time($time){ $parsed = date_parse($time); return ( $parsed['error_count'] === 0 && $parsed['warning_count'] === 0 ); } Sorry for the premature bug report. -Carl
