I am aware that gzdecode() is to be implemented in PHP 6. Please consider implementing it in 5.3

It is a very useful function when uncompressing data returned from ReST call made to servers that use zlib.output_compression to compress output.

We are now 2 years down the road ... PHP 6 is ... well, you know.

From my understanding, a ton of code was ported from the PHP 6 branch to the 5.4 
branch ... can you guys please revisit this and add gzdecode?

This bug has been fixed in SVN.

Snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change
