Description:
------------
I use Windows Server 2008 64bit version and choose in the installer to install it on a Apache Webserver 2.2. This failes. Maybe this is, because Apache is not (yet) available for 64bit and therefore the installationpath of Apache is not c:\Progam Files\Apache Software... BUT c:\Program Files (x86)\Apache Software.... The Program Files folder without the (x86) is the 64bit version.

Assigned to the installer maintainer.

I am of a strong belife that the installer SHOULD NOT ever change the
apache conf file, the fact that it does at the moment is a major pain in
the *^%$, for those of us running distributions that dont have the php
enabling instructions in httpd.conf. It is increasingly becoming common
to have separate conf fragment directories that are included from
httpd.conf. (like php does with the php.d conf directory)

Virtually every time i have installed php from source I have had to
"undo" the mess that php makes of this. Please leave the httpd.conf
alone, it does not belong to the php project, and editing it is always a
bad idea.

Auto-configuration of web server during installation is optional.

Please try re-installing as Administrator or in the Administrator console.
