In http://fr.php.net/manual/fr/intro.filter.php
"digit" does not translate to "digital", but to "num?rique".
"digital" in french, is the adjective related to the finger.

Digital : (anglais) Num?rique. (voir ce mot). Le mot anglais, form? ? partir de "digit", doit ?tre obligatoirement remplac? par le terme "num?rique" en fran?ais (commission de terminologie - Loi du 31-12-75).

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
