To compile PHP4 with java (JDK1.1.7) support I have to copy some include files to make PHP4 able to find them.
The *_md.h are not in /usr/java/include but in /usr/java/include/solaris so you have to move :-(  , link or copy them.

You should be able to set the path to your java directory when you run the configure script

Something like --with-java=/usr/java/include/solaris/ should do the trick...
