I cannot extract the files from your php-5.2.5-Win32.zip downloaded from your website http://www.php.net/get/php-5.2.5-Win32.zip/from/a/mirror. It's password protected. Please help. Thank you.

Could you please tell us what "zip" utility you are using to extract your downloaded PHP Distribution please ?

From the looks of it, it seems to me that your "zip" utility cannot extract correctly. Please try with either "winzip" or "7-zip". I suggest the latter.

Can you also please check that the file you downloaded really is "9,945,809 bytes" ?

Actually I 'm using the Win XP original unzip function. I 'll try on ur suggestion. Thanks.

Please verify the md5sum of your downloaded zip file is a3553b61c9332d08a5044cf9bf89f2df.

We also need to know which exact mirror you downloaded the file from.

The md5sum is a1e31c0d872ab030a2256b1cd6d3b7d1 from site Argentina ar.php.net. But seem that all the site having the same problem. But the zip can be extracted when I used the "7-zip". Thanks.

Err, I accidentally pasted the md5sum for the pecl zip file.
a1e31c0d872ab030a2256b1cd6d3b7d1 is correct for php-5.2.5-Win32.zip.

If you can extract it with 7-Zip then there apparently is some problem with the built-in zip functionality in windows.
