Try making a page entitled test.php
Put the following in it:

<? PRINT "Value is $value"; ?>

Now call the page with test.php?value=50

And watch $value having no value assigned to it :-(
Doesn't work with GET and POST.

Please enable register_globals in your php.ini configuration file. Otherwise, PHP will not register GPC data in the global namespace.
