The codumentaiton for mysqli_field_seek states under return value:

"Returns the previous value of field cursor."

This should read:

"Returns TRUE on success or FALSE on failure."

That would match the docs for mysql_field_seek.

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
