Can you verify that the MD5 of the file you downloaded matches that of what's listed at http://www.php.net/downloads.php?

What do you mean by 'MD5'?
 [2007-11-26 12:43 UTC] jmertic@php.net
MD5 checksum ( see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Md5 ). Make sure the one we provide matches the one generated locally on your downloaded file.

Using MD5Sum (from http://www.pc-tools.net/win32/md5sums/):

Dwonloaded file from http://www.php.net/get/php-5.2.5-win32-installer.msi/from/a/mirror gave: ed25d74bae5257d88e00e704da5e5e04

http://www.php.net/downloads.php gives checksum as: f9396b654721d9a18c95ea6412c3d54e

Tried another download and got:
Attempt 1: 16f5196f641b675d58c2f421cc2c0256
Attempt 2: 289434b7bb65069bbd6cc190110db15e
Attempt 3: a279d847f3067c7ad67195921bbc3a43

To verify MD5Sum was consistent then rescanned attempt 3 and got:
a279d847f3067c7ad67195921bbc3a43

Any ideas?
