seems that Bug #39763 is back in PHP 5.2.4

i have the same behaviour as reported in the above bug report in 5.2.4. 

as of 5.2.1 parse_str works as expected, now with 5.2.4 there are again double applied magic quotes.

And that's the expected result. I'm using latest CVS checkout of PHP_5_2 branch.
