Document the file upload hooks [progress bar]. It would end up being seen here:

  http://php.net/features.file-upload

Likely in a new section... file-upload. (progress|hooks)?

Also a known method for use is through APC. The APC docs currently document the apc.rfc1867 related directives so file-upload.progress should refer to them, and vice versa. This is the preferred method for use at this time.

Also, create a FAQ titled "How do I implement a file upload progress bar?" and this FAQ can also mention alternative tools and methods such as these:

This bug has been fixed in the documentation's XML sources. Since the
online and downloadable versions of the documentation need some time
to get updated, we would like to ask you to be a bit patient.
