Typing in "symbol" in the function search leads to

Parse error: parse error, unexpected T_STRING in /var/www/de.php.net/www/manual/de/ref.xml.php on line 725

in IE 7 and to a blank page in Mozilla Firefox.

This bug has been fixed in CVS. Since the websites are not directly
updated from the CVS server, the fix might need some time to spread
across the globe to all mirror sites, including PHP.net itself.
