If my script calls:

 AnyFunctionName(); 

but AnyFunctionName is undefined, the error reported is:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: anyfunctionname() in f:\blah\index.php on line 27

PHP should not be setting the function name to lower case.

That is how function names are kept internally - nothing to do about it.
