Hiya

should explain enough:
<?
	function wico () {
	// this works
		$args = func_get_args();
		$args = implode(",", $args);

	// this segfaults
		$args = implode(",", func_get_args());

	// make sure something should be displayed
		echo "PLOP ($args)";
	}

	Wico("Andy and Zeev this doesn't work :(");
?>

We are sorry, but can not support PHP 3 related problems anymore.
Momentum is gathering for PHP 5, and we think supporting PHP 3 will
lead to a waste of resources which we want to put into getting PHP 5
ready. Ofcourse PHP 4 will will continue to be supported for the
forseeable future.

in php 4 this gives an eplanatory error message

Fatal error: func_get_args(): Can't be used as a function parameter in - on line 8
