Description:
------------
(would post as a Feature Request, but "[That] category requires you to pick a PHP version.")

While the changelog for the current release versions is visible on the php.net homepage, it would be nice if this file was included in the official binary releases (e.g. for Windows) as well as source releases if it's not already.

It would also be especially helpful if the latest changelog could be made available for the snapshot builds as well, so people experiencing an issue could look through it to see if it has (possibly) been fixed in the snapshot. As-is, I didn't see a convenient way to get at this information without going through the hassle of setting up cvs. (In particular, php5.2-win32-200608041830.zip (binaries) was lacking a changelog)

The changelog file is called "news.txt", I guess this what you need and it's included into the snapshots.

Actually, it's called "NEWS".

It's called "news.txt" in win32 snaps.
Probably because windows requires .txt extension to open the file with notepad.
